this is a lace christening shawl pattern passed onto me by my grandmother who came from creslough in donegAL SHE WAS ABSOLUTLY FAB at knitting and crochet I have one the same as this that she made for my children and nit was usued for all 9 of them. I am in the middle od this one which is an order for PERSON IN NEW YORK it tKWA bout 4 weeks for mw to knit it but it ia really a fAMILY HEIRLOOM THis pattern has been made for most of the Royal families of Europe for generations. it is mAade in 4ply wool and originated in the highlands of scotland it is beautiful when finished and a joy to knit
