Here I sit on my laptop on a very cold showery day here in Donegal . This week has been interesting Firstly we were informed hat we could have a FULL week off in May when Daniel can have restbite, needless to say we both were excited at the pospect of a week off, then it was decision time where to go after much debating we decided on touring Ireland. Not too exciting u may say but when you are looking after someone who is fully dependent on you its hard to head away on a plane when hubby especially would worry that he couldnt get home quick enough in an emergency so at his sugestion we are touring ( good hotel, good food and of course a nice swimming pool. The other thing that happened was our son and grandaughter were in a car crash in Dubai, thankfully no one hurt but the wee lady was badly shaken and all anoyed that her daddys car is broke now. Oldest daughtet was at the Balle in Manhatten with her hubby and a few friends over from dublin . Romeo and Julet she said she would have prfered to see Swan Lake so theye off to see it next week.
Now for my quilting escapades this week. I was given a kit for a birthday pres about 3 yrs ago of African dancers by moonlight and finaly got it done last week. I also finished of a Bonnie Hunter scrap quilt called pinwheels and patches I made it in batiks and I am in love wih all the colours in it. I still had lots of batiks let so strted aanother one of her patterns called wild and goosey it is very fidly but am enjoying it. I have posted the pics on this blog. For this weeks quilting I am using my Pfaff quilters creation which is a fab machine. Did I tell you that I ave a fetish for sewing machines. and have 8 in my collection he oldest being a treadle which is 1o5 yrs old and still works like a dream.
More news his week I have been asked by several people if I will do private sewing tuition so I will be doing that from next week.
